Three Options
When faced with an unplanned pregnancy, you have three choices: have an abortion, make an adoption plan, or choose to parent. Let’s take a closer look at each.
Making an Adoption Plan
Placing a child for adoption is not an easy choice to make, and it shouldn’t be. You love your child and want the best for them, which is why you’re considering this option.
Sometimes, life’s circumstances make it too difficult to raise a child. You may not have a stable home life. Or, you are already raising other children and don’t have the capacity for one more.
Making an adoption plan for this child ensures they are properly loved and cared for. Plus, you can continue a relationship with them.
You have the option of choosing their adoptive family and determining how much contact you wish to have with them as your child grows up. It costs you nothing to place your child for adoption.
Adoption is not giving up—it’s making a brave and loving decision to create the best possible future for your child.
Choosing to Parent
As you consider the option of parenting, ask yourself if you have the determination and will to raise your child. Parenting is challenging, but also very rewarding.
Despite what you hear, no one is entirely prepared to parent. Like every child, every parenting situation is different, but different doesn’t mean impossible.
We have various resources to assist you as you parent. For instance, we provide free parenting classes where you learn about prenatal care, childbirth, and newborn care. As you complete each class, you can access our Baby Store for free baby items.
Parenting requires not only material support but also emotional support. That’s where our staff comes in. We’re here to walk alongside you every step of the way.
Having an Abortion
Although we do not perform or refer for abortion, we can provide factual, medically based information about the various procedures, side effects to expect, and the potential physical and emotional risks.
